Yes! First One to Post in May!

I was worried that by waiting till tonight someone would beat me to it and I wouldn't be the first to post in May. Guess I got lucky this time...

With only 20 days left in Virginia, this is the first of the last blogs I will write as a Virginian. Kinda breaks my heart in three. Nonetheless, here are some pics for all to view.

One of the last from Virginia...

P.S. Joni's Great Uncle Dustin died and left $2.4 million to "Joni's husband." Was kind of strange, so I decided to share it all with my parents and siblings...well, with those of you who remembered my birthday.... I waited and waited, Jen...I'm spending your split on a truck like Christian's.

You were so speedy, how could any of us have beaten you to the punch??? Man!! I am so stoked now that I remembered to call you on your birthday!! I wanted to get a really fun swingset for the kids....a new truck like yours and Christians for Heath will be great too!
Jess, your kids are so cute! I can't believe Nelson is already standing up like that! You're kids have always been so stiff legged like that, it's amazing! Too, as I was looking at your pics, I decided that you guys are going to be pretty bored living back here in Utah! No pack of friends next door, no beach, and no Busch Gardens...what will you do with your time? Work???? Come on! Your kids are going to wonder where all the awesome play stuff has gone! I guess the creek is as good as any beach, right? I mean, the rope swing beats any rolling waves...so I guess you're set after all! I love you guys and I know I speak for everyone when I say we are all so excited for you guys to get back here!! Good Luck tomorrow!

I hope you're planning to give some of your new-found wealth to your Mom and Dad----we could really use it to remodel our kitchen and family room, since we're currently spending all your inheritance on "Phase 1"! I think Nelson is vying for the top "Chub" spot at your house---he might just be able to take on both Will and Mary before too long. I can hardly wait to see them all in person!

Yeah, we're all going to be turned on our heads when our three-year vacation ends. I think the kids will be okay though. We do fun things once, twice, maybe three times a week, and then the rest of the time they are confined to the 1100 square feet of our apartment. some days they don't even get out at all. A fenced in backyard will do them some good...and just might keep their parents sane as well. It'll be tough, really tough, but we just might survive.

Mom, I thought we agreed to start with the daughters' inheritances first. Maybe I'll forego the truck and you can have Jen's split of the money for your remodel. Nelson is getting some lardy legs, much more than Will every did. I think he still has a ways to go before he catches up with Chubby.

hey jes...okay i will be the first to admit that I am a horrible sister! I am soooo sorry i forgot to call you on your birthday. I must say that my heart was with you the whole time though as I drank pina coladas and walked along the beautiful beach the wind blowing through my hair! eheh we have been in florida since the 27th and it totally slipped my mind! I am sorry. I hope you had a wonderful day and I want you to know that I am the most excited for you guys to move out here. I have missed you tremendously...you can even ask my husband. I talk about you all the time! Thanks for being such an incredible brother and friend! And happy belated bday! love you bro...

it's okay Jen. I know how you can knock down pina coladas when you're at the beach....if you got there on the 27th then i'm sure by the 29th you had had enough pina coladas to cloud your judgment. it all makes sense now why you forgot....although you are still a bum for going to the beach on my birthday and not inviting me.

i did have a wonderful day, thank you. we're excited to come out there too! and it's okay that you talk about me all the time cause i talk about me all the time too...you can even ask my husband...enjoy the sunshine and fuzzy thoughts as you sip your pina coladas...
